Ghanaian Music producer, King Dee, very popular for his ‘Chocho Mucho’ hit has revealed he still has unreleased songs of Kofi B.
According to King Dee, he was working with Kofi B on an album he was set to release, before his unfortunate demise in CapeCost.
Speaking in an interview the music producer said: “We are done with it. I was so sad to hear of him passing away.”
He says they were working tirelessly on the album and was hoping they would release it together.
“I thought we were going to release the album and never thought of his death. He is even done with all the singing on his beats,” King Dee explained.
The music producer says the best way to keep the legacy of the late highlife musician alive, is to release his songs posthumously. He, however, hopes to sit with Kofi B’s family, to talk about the terms of this.
“Now I will have to sit down with his family to discuss terms. It’s unfortunate he is dead but that is the way forward,” he said.
Kofi Boakye Yiadom, known in showbiz as Kofi B, died Sunday, prior to his performance at a concert in Cape Coast in the Central region.
