Madam Susan Shika Gbedemah Agbesi, Head of Business Technology Solutions at the Coca-Cola Bottling Company, who was the guest speaker at the Wallace Academy graduation had delivered an inspiring message anchored on faith, perseverance, and courage.
She chose a verse from Jeremiah 29:11 and encouraged the graduates to remain confident as they entered a new phase of life.
“Go out there and be bold. Be kind. Be excellent. Congratulations to you, Class of 2025. Your story is just beginning,” she said
Wallace Academy on Saturday graduated 98 students at a colourful ceremony that challenged the Class of 2025 to be bold, adaptable, and purposeful in navigating life after Senior High School.
The graduating class comprised 26 males and 72 females, who were celebrated for their resilience and discipline throughout their years of study.
She stressed that the future was not waiting for the graduates but had already arrived, urging them to embrace opportunities with faith, creativity, and responsibility.
Addressing the theme “After Senior High School, What Next?” Madam Agbesi reflected on the challenges faced by many graduates in Ghana, including limited access to tertiary education, financial constraints, and unemployment.
She shared a personal journey with friends who, despite initial setbacks, carved out successful paths.
“A brilliant science student once sold plantain chips by the roadside but today is a nursing lecturer. Another, who never made it to university, now runs a thriving repair shop. These stories prove that challenges do not define you, your response to them does,” she emphasised.
Madam Agbesi reminded the graduates that success does not always begin in glamorous offices but could start from small shops, markets, or community initiatives. She encouraged them to “start where you are, use what you have, and do what you can.”
She further urged the class to remain rooted in their faith and cultural values, stressing that identity and purpose were key drivers of success. “He who knows his culture knows where he is from and where he is going,” she said.

The guest speaker advised the graduates to cultivate adaptability, problem-solving skills, and leadership qualities, while always finding ways to give back to society.
“Do not step on people as you rise. Learn to lift others up. Success means little if it is not shared,” she told the students.
Madam Susan reminded the Class of 2025 that they are not just the future of Ghana, but also its present builders and leaders. “The next chapter is not awaiting you —it is already here, and it is yours to shape,” she affirmed.
The graduation was marked by cheers, songs, and reflections, as parents, teachers, and students celebrated the achievements of Wallace Academy’s 2025 graduating class.
