Rev. Martin Amenaki, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ketu North, has convened an emergency meeting of the Assembly to deliberate on critical governance and development matters affecting the municipality.
The meeting that was held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, brought together Assembly Members, Heads of Departments, and members of the Municipal Security Council (MUSEC) to review and approve essential working documents for the 2026 fiscal year.
These included the Draft Annual Action Plan, Composite Budget, Fee-Fixing Resolution, Ceded Revenue Items to Zonal Councils, and the Revenue Improvement Action Plan.
Rev. Amenaki emphasised that these key documents form the foundation for the Assembly’s development agenda in the coming year, providing a clear roadmap to guide decision-making, budgeting, and implementation processes.
He noted that their approval demonstrates the Assembly’s commitment to ensuring that local development initiatives reflect the real needs and aspirations of the people.
He reaffirmed the municipality’s dedication to transparency, accountability, and teamwork, adding that the deliberations reflected a shared determination to strengthen local governance, enhance revenue mobilization, and accelerate equitable development across all communities in Ketu North.
The MCE expressed appreciation to the Presiding Member, Mr. Edward Seke, for his steady leadership, and to the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Bernard Sekyiamah, as well as all Members and departmental heads for their professionalism, collaboration, and tireless service.
“Together, we are building a stronger, more united, and forward-looking Ketu North,” Rev. Amenaki concluded.
