Twyford Ghana donates to two institutions in Western Region

The Western Naval Command (WNC) was one of the institutions

The Twyford Ghana Ceramics Company Limited, a leading producer of ceramic tiles in West Africa, has made separate donations to the Western Naval Command (WNC) and the Shama Municipal Command of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS).

The Western Naval Command received some tiles to support the renovation of its Cenotaph, while the Shama Municipal GNFS was supported with a cheque for GHS 2,000 to support fire education initiatives.

Mr David Wei, the Business Manager of Twyford Ghana, said the donation was a gesture of respect and remembrance for the fallen and a salute to the bravery of all serving officers.

“We stand with the Navy to remember the fallen and salute the bravery of all serving officers. Together, we honour the past and build for the future,” he stated.

Mr Wei said the company was proud to play its role in strengthening safety awareness and community development in the Western Region.

Representatives from the two institutions who received the donations, commended Twyford Ghana for their continuous support over the years.
